How to Request an AT&T Number Transfer PIN

🔐 How to Request an AT&T Number Transfer PIN

Eligibility: Only the primary user on the business account can request a Number Transfer PIN.​

Option 1: Online via myAT&T for Business

  1. Sign in to your myAT&T for Business account.

  2. Navigate to People & permissions in your profile.

  3. Select Wireless.

  4. Scroll to Transfer phone number and choose Request a new PIN.

  5. Your Number Transfer PIN will be displayed on the screen.

Option 2: Contact AT&T Business Support

If you prefer assistance, call AT&T Business Customer Service at 800.331.0500. A representative will generate the Number Transfer PIN and email it to you.​

⚠️ Important Notes

  • PIN Expiration: The Number Transfer PIN is valid for 4 days from the time of request.

  • Account Lock: Ensure that Wireless Account Lock is turned off; otherwise, you won't be able to transfer your number.

  • Device Eligibility: Confirm that your device is eligible to unlock before requesting the Number Transfer PIN.

  • Service Status: Do not disconnect your AT&T service before initiating the transfer with your new provider. If you disconnect your number, you'll need to reactivate it before the transfer can be completed.
